An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) was produced for Centre Gate, Bristol, assessing the energy performance of the existing commercial building and its associated building services.
The assessment considered the building fabric and construction, including the existing windows with secondary glazing, together with the performance of the installed electric heating, ventilation, cooling and lighting systems. Particular consideration was given to the characteristics and constraints of the existing building fabric and services in establishing its overall energy performance.
The completed assessment achieved an EPC rating of D (91), reflecting the existing building’s energy performance and the characteristics of its fabric and building services. The assessment provides a benchmark of the property’s current energy performance and can be used to inform future energy efficiency improvements and refurbishment strategies.
