Western Gateway, Weston-super-Mare

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) was obtained for Weston Gateway Unit B, a 4,356 m² commercial building, in July 2013. The assessment provided an evaluation of the building’s overall energy performance and its compliance with the energy efficiency requirements applicable at the time. The EPC assessment considered key aspects of the building’s construction and services, including the thermal performance of the building fabric, insulation standards, and the efficiency of its heating, cooling, lighting, and other building services. These factors were assessed to determine the building’s energy performance and resulting EPC rating. The assessment resulted in an EPC rating of B39, demonstrating a relatively strong level of energy efficiency for the building and establishing a benchmark against which its ongoing energy performance could be considered.
